Schedule / Camp Dates

Respite Weekends 

Spring Respite, March 28-30, 2014 is for campers ages 5-12 and their families.  It is a great way for families to see if their child is ready for summer camp. Check in time is 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28th. Check out time is Sunday, March 30th at 12:00 p.m.

Fall Respite, will be held September 26-28, 2014. It is for campers ages 13-25.

Summer Camp

UCP’s Camp SMILE offers four sessions for individuals with disabilities and their siblings.

Session 1 July 1-5, 2014 for ages 22-50
Session 2

July 8-12, 2014 for ages 5-9

Session 3

July 15-19, 2014 for ages 10-14

Session 4

July 22-26, 2014 for ages 15-21



 

Check in time for campers is between 8:00 & 11:00a.m. on Tuesday. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes checking in your camper. Please take advantage of this time to share important information about your camper with the nurse and his/her counselor.

Check out for campers is Saturday morning at 11:15a.m. No one will be allowed to check out before then without prior permission from the director.  The campers will perform in a talent show from 9:30-11:00a.m. at the Pavilion.  Please plan to attend the show; the campers plan, practice and look forward to this all week!

Check in times are staggered to prevent long wait periods. Please see below for your exact check in time:

Camper last name beginning with letters A - I …………Check in time: 8:00-9:00 a.m.

Camper last name beginning with letters J - R………….Check in time: 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Camper last name beginning with letters S – Z…………Check in time: 10:00-10:30 am.

Campers coming with a group home………………….Check in time: 10:30-11:00 am.

The camp gates will not be open before 8:00 a.m. to ensure that we are ready for check in.

Check out for campers is Saturday morning at 11:15 a.m. The campers will perform in a talent show from 9:30-11:00 at the Pavilion. Please plan to attend the show; the campers look forward to this all week.
