Due to the nature of the camp, Camp SMILE requires that all overnight volunteers attend a 3-day training session on working with individuals with disabilities prior to camp. Both of these are offered to volunteers at minimal to no cost at all.

Camp Sessions: Summer 2026

Week 1 (Ages 5 - 13) : June 22nd - June26th

Week 2 (Ages 19 - 25) : June 29th - July 3rd

Week 3 (Ages 14 - 18) : July 6th - July 10th

Week 4 (Ages 26 and older) : July 13th - July 17th

Volunteers may sign up to work one, two, three, or four sessions. Each session, volunteers must arrive at camp on Monday morning and plan to stay until Friday evening.

If you have any questions about camp or the schedule, you may contact UCP at anytime. However, we offer an Open House at Camp where you can receive a tour and have many questions answered. We will also schedule interviews for each prospective volunteer and you may ask questions then as well. Click to view a counselor job description.
